We offer a combination of educational and support groups for survivors of domestic violence.
An “Emotions Management” group for women to help them identify and express emotions related to domestic violence.
Throughout the year, HAVEN conducts a variety of additional groups with special themes, such as creative healing workshops, and parenting and children’s groups.
Local service providers make it easy for you to access care, and they are knowledgeable about the laws in your area and local resources that can assist you.Our sex addiction treatment team draws upon this information to develop an individualized treatment plan that includes the most effective therapies for each client.Some of the unique features of our love, relationship and sex rehab program include: In a private, restorative setting, clients live, share meals, and participate in therapy and activities alongside a small group of other men experiencing similar struggles.All counseling clients can also be assisted with personal protection orders, housing resources, access to a career center, and referrals for health and financial assistance. Counselors also work with supportive friends and family members who are dealing with their own feelings around the abuse of someone they love.HAVEN counseling services are offered free of charge. Back to top Counseling at HAVEN is provided by staff with master’s level degrees in social work, counseling and psychology.These workshops focus on working through trauma by incorporating the mind, body and spirit.Examples of these workshops include: Yoga for Survivors, Mandalas (an art experiential workshop), dance/movement therapy, meditation and more. Children who live in a home where domestic violence has occurred can benefit from working with a counselor — they can explore safety planning as well as nonviolent means of expressing feelings together.Sexual assault service providers have highly trained staff that can offer assistance in moments of crisis as well as resources for ongoing support related to sexual violence. At the Center for Relationship and Sexual Recovery (CRSR) at The Ranch, men struggling with sexual addiction and intimacy disorders receive highly structured and individualized treatment in a gender-separate environment.These groups are ongoing and meet once a week for an hour and a half. The first is an 8-to-10 week educational group focusing on the issue of being an adult survivor.The second is an ongoing support group for those who have completed the first group.
