Yes, the premise sounds silly and leads to LOTS of fanservice (which in itself is never a bad thing) but as the series goes along a more serious story starts to develop. While the ending did feel a bit flat (still needs to see the OAD) it is well worth the watch. In addition they often adhere to certain genre conventions, the emphasis on training and practice in preparation for competitions, characters desire for self improvement, and pursuit of a specific goal. Note that novel means book with words in paper, so no comics and no "visual novels", which should go under manga and dating-sim - visual Novel/erotic game respectively.Note that it can be applied to novels as we know them but also the typical light novels for teens and young adults, which are common in Japan and aside from being short include a number of illustrations. It does have some touch of genius in the last episode's featured song, may I say.As I say: Lyrics may be a piece of c*ap but, as long as everything is in harmony, the song will always be good. I din't give more than 8 because I didn't like the chosen plot twist on episode 10 (it could have been a 9). "school for geniuses"; however, this anime is for ecchi/fanservice lovers only as this is 100% focused on. R-15 is about an aspiring young writer named Taketo, who happens to be a genius at writing eroge, and his daily life at Inspiration Academy, a school for geniuses.
Japanese humour can be a bit strange to westerners, so if you`re new to this type of humour, just bear with it; it`ll most likely grow on you if you`re a fan of other kinds of comedy.
And if you don't like echhi, at least do yourself a favour and watch the ED, the song is awesome. The best ecchi series I can find for the year 2011.
This is THE anime for hard core ecchi loves (with nice "salt" of comedy).
And since clubs take up so much time in the lives of students, these are obviously also important.
Seinen, literally "young man", is one of the main demographic classifications applied to manga, and, by extension, to anime, especially manga-based ones.
